Safety is one major reason you see so many soccer moms driving their kids around in an SUV. Traffic accidents are a leading cause of death in the United States. If you've got kids, and you can afford it, why not? Who wouldn't want to spend money to protect their kids? Being buckled up in an SUV is the safest place to be if you should ever get into an accident. You're not showing off your wealth, you're protecting your children. Who's going to argue with that?
Hiring a reliable, affordable, and fast tow truck company can be another story. I used to work with several tow truck companies in the area of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I ran a fleet of school buses and from time to time they would break down and would need a tow. It was very hard to fine a tow truck company that had not only the equipment but that were fast and affordable. There are many great tow companies that I went through before finding the right one.
This configuration of high-flow exhaust system uses two pipes to vent the exhaust gases from your motor. This unique design differs from the previous two because the pipes exit out the rear of the vehicle, just under the bumper or roll pan. This free-flowing style of exhaust system has all of the benefits of the Dual Side Exit exhaust but can be perceived as louder because the sound is directed out the rear of your vehicle, directly at the traffic behind you. Depending on how aggressive your driving habits are, this can either be a good thing, or a bad thing. One side note: you may not be interested in this exhaust system if you are towing any kind of trailer because the exhaust gases can leave soot on whatever you're towing.
Americans who live in major cities -- such as New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Baltimore, or Atlanta -- often have the option of helping to reduce total yearly carbon emissions by taking public transportation. The American Public Transportation Association estimates that using public transportation saves $1.4 billion worth of gasoline each year. However, many Americans do not live in areas where subways, buses, or trolleys are available or convenient.
