First up is the Forester which has a taller centre of gravity due to a slightly higher ground clearance of 220mm compared to the Mazdas 150mm of clearance. Despite this the Forester is a pleasure to drive, it feels surprisingly accurate and light in the steering compared to the Mazda CX-5. The Forester has plenty of punch for a diesel and it is paired with a new continuously variable transmission (CVT) that should sound noisy but isnt due to a series of steps that have been added which mimic a regular transmission.
What does this mean to you? It is time to seriously consider getting your HAFC kit on order NOW. The Ford executive mentioned that he thought our prices were too low and that they should be double what we are currently charging. I guess he is right, because we were charging the same price we currently charge for the kit when gas prices were half what they are now. When Ford comes in that will most likely change.
During the driving process, a significant opportunity for fuel waste occurs when a car, truck, or SUV is stopped with the motor still running; for example, at a stoplight or an intersection. A hybrid engine reduces incidents of gasoline waste and total chemical atmospheric release because it draws from stored energy to power the motor when the vehicle is idling or traveling at the lowest speeds. The smaller, more fuel-efficient hybrid engines also enable them to reduce greenhouse emissions by using less gasoline overall.
